HEALTHY AGEING MOVEMENT GROWS IN UK

Dr. Deepak Chopra addressing the delegates

The third Anti-Ageing Conference London which was recently held at the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) in London attracted a capacity audience.

Altogether there were more than 1,000 attendees over the 3 days representing science, medicine, the media, companies associated with anti-ageing, preventive health care products and interested lay persons.

This event also attracted more participants both delegates and exhibitors than ever before from many countries from around the world.

Friday saw the first public debate on stem cells at the International Symposium on Regenerative Medicine. Speakers flew in from the USA, Israel and Europe to join researchers from the UK to present the latest findings on this ground breaking subject. This event proved of such interest that there was standing room only.

Speaker Panel AACL 2006

Saturday proved to be another fascinating day offering a wide variety of subjects. Dr Ben Pfeifer spoke about phytonutrient therapy and immune system support with hormone refractory prostate cancer. Dr Mark Babizhayev senior research investigator at the Moscow Helmholtz Institute of eye disease spoke about ways of treating human cataracts. Dr Goldman ,chairman of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine explained how to maximize human performance with Anti-aging therapeutics. Dr Jennifer Krup senior medical adviser to the HB Health Clinics –the Conference’s major sponsor, provided a fascinating analysis about HRT in women. Saturday’s final presentation was given by Prof.Giovanni Scapagnini his subject being the wine road to longevity, an enlightening presentation- so a drop of red wine is good for you!!.This was followed by an Italian wine tasting at HBHealth’s beautifully appointed clinic-48 Harley St. This event proved very popular, with wine experts on hand to explain the process of producing the excellent Sicilian wine, dinner of course was of a truly Italian flavour.

Sunday all delegates were up early as Dr Deepak Chopra who has been described by Mikhail Gorbachev as ‘undoubtedly one of the most lucid and inspired philosophers of our time’.It was therefore a great honour to welcome him to the London Conference. Dr Chopra held the audiences’ attention for 2 inspired hours. His work is changing the way the world views physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social wellness.

From small beginnings the Anti-Ageing Conference London has grown to become a major player in the world movement to spread the word on anti-ageing medicine and preventative health.

Plans are already underway for next year's event 14th -16th September 2007 which will also be held at the RSM. We will have an equally diverse and exciting programme of speakers.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters, all of you who contributed in some way - whether it was a speaker, a member of the audience an exhibitor or those behind the scenes.

At the regenerative medicine conference members of the Trans European Stem Cell Therapy Consortium (TESCT)  presented the latest data about progress in stem cell based therapies and the socio economic impact of these novel technologies on society globally.

We look forward to welcoming you again to Anti-Ageing Conference London 2007.

Testimonials

Inspiring event, where I had a unique opportunity to learn new things from very knowledgeable speakers and meet talented professionals.
Russia

As expected, the conference is concrete, effective, well balanced, high quality of subjects and speakers, innovative in selecting a focus scientific theme: STEM CELLS to attract the lime lights of media on the AA medicine not yet highly regarded as very scientific and too often confused with aesthetic medicine.
Perfect back up organization supported by charming and helpful young ladies.
Good wine too, by the way!!!
Italy

We would like to thank you very much for the kind hospitality we enjoyed during the Conference in London. I hope to be able to cooperate with you also in the future, with best personal greetings.
Hungary

Many congratulations to you and the team for putting on such an interesting day. We found the speakers both informative and inspiring and we met new and old friends too, which was a bonus. With best wishes and thanks again for a memorable day.
