2016 - Clinical and Pathologic Changes in the Aging Face / Etiology and Strategies to Restore Facial Shape and Balance
The aging face demonstrates changes related to the environment, genetics, and gravity, as well as the loss of volume related to the loss of facial fat. Reversing the signs of the aging face requires a multimodal approach that combines laser resurfacing, fat grafting, non-autologous fillers, and surgical repositioning of tissues that demonstrate gravitational descent. The analysis and the required treatment of the aging face will be presented.
